Kindergarten Readiness: Setting Your Child Up for Success at Town & Country

February 14, 2025

Is your child ready for kindergarten? At Town & Country, our comprehensive K-readiness program ensures your preschooler develops the essential skills needed for a smooth transition to kindergarten. Our curriculum emphasizes early literacy, numeracy, science, and social-emotional development.

Building a Strong Foundation:Our curriculum is rooted in the theories of renowned child development experts, including Erik Erikson, Jean Piaget, Lev Vygotsky, and Howard Gardner, as well as recent research on language, literacy, and math development. Through play-based activities, hands-on experiences, and engaging lessons, children cultivate pre-reading skills such as phonological awareness and print awareness. Additionally, they establish a solid foundation in math concepts, including number sense, counting, and problem-solving.

Fostering a Love of Learning: Our program encourages curiosity and exploration through science activities while nurturing social skills, emotional regulation, and cooperation. We believe in fostering a love of learning that will remain with your child throughout their educational journey.

Enrichment Programs: We offer a variety of enrichment classes to enhance your child’s learning and development further. These classes, available for an additional fee, include exciting options such as:

  • Soccer: Introduces children to the fundamentals of soccer, promoting teamwork, coordination, and physical activity.
  • JumpBunch: A fun and engaging program that combines sports, music, and games to develop motor skills, coordination, and social interaction.
  • Martial Arts: Instills discipline, focus, and self-confidence while improving physical fitness and coordination.

A Smooth Transition: Our K-readiness program ensures that your children are well-prepared for the exciting journey of kindergarten.
