On Wednesday, August 19th four volunteers from the Hartford Symphony Orchestra put on a special presentation for our preschool students called an “Instrument Zoo.” They explained the four different types of instruments (brass, woodwinds, strings, and percussion) and demonstrated a variety of each. Then the children got to touch and try out all of the instruments. It seemed to us that we have a lot of budding musicians on our hands!
